Finals Day 2017
Unfortunately the weather seemed determined to make this year’s tournament difficult for the tournament committee. With admiral determination and strong organisational skills, they battled on superbly and overcame the two “rained off” mixed drawn evenings and even managed to play 1.5 rounds of the finals before finally having to admit temporary defeat to the persistent rain!
The remaining finals will be played over the next couple of weeks – I will keep you updated with results and photos!

Storm Aileen arrived in time to continue the rainy theme for this year’s finals! Michael and Jamie won 6-1 6-1 but think everyone deserves at least a chocolate medal for battling the wind and rain to complete the match!

The last final was the Men’s singles where Jamie beat Michael 5-7, 6-2 6-4.
