Team competition is very keenly supported at Riverside We have teams for all ages and abilities and are very proud to enter 35 teams this year!

What are these leagues?

Apsley - This is a summer mixed league which comprises many good teams from Hampshire & Wiltshire. We really enjoy this league! Each team consists of 8 players - 4 men and 4 ladies. Everyone plays one mixed and one level doubles match. We have three teams which play in the Premier, First and Third divisions.

Hants & IOW Doubles - This is the summer doubles league which we enter each year. We have four men's teams and three ladies teams with our top men's team being in Division 1.

Hants & IOW Senior Doubles League - This is a summer veteran's doubles league. We won division 1 of the Men's Over 55s for the first time last year and also have another Over 55s team, an Over 45s men's team and a Ladies Over 50s team.

The Southampton Winter League - We haver three mens, three ladies and two mixed teams in this winter doubles league.

The Sarum Local League - We have one team in the summer league and two teams in the winter league. Teams consist of 2 men and 2 ladies who all play 2 mixed sets and 2 level doubles sets.

LTA National Club League - We have 2 mens and 1 ladies team competing in the Wiltshire division of this league. Both our Men's A and Ladies team have qualified for the regional play offs this year.

HOW TO PLAY

Teams are selected in September and April. Everyone receives and email asking them to sign up for the teams they are interested in and then The Selection Committee meet to sort out captains and squads.
